Let the Children come to me
"
Let the children come to me"
(Matt 19:14)
The young body of Christ in Israel has grown significantly in the last few years, from dozens of young children in believing families in the early 80's to more than 1500 currently.
Yet there are still very few Hebrew scriptures for children of different ages. This limits the opportunities and possibilities to impact their lives in these early and crucial stages of growth and development.
Making Hebrew scriptures available for children in Israel means translating the commands and teachings of our Lord into action by helping and letting the children of Israel come to their Lord.
Creating a new children's book, "The two books of God - Scripture and Nature"
“…since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities -- his eternal power and divine nature -- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made…”
(Rom 1:19-20)
This activity book will be designed to take advantage of children’s natural curiosity and affinity for animals in order to expand their understanding of God and foster in them a sense of awe for him as the infinitely wise and creative designer of all things.
On each page will be a picture of a different animal combined with a verse that relates either to a key characteristic or the behavior of that particular animal. Though the primary purpose of the book is to teach lessons through nature about God’s Word and character, children will also learn something about each animal.
The book is intended to be a tool for parents to raise their children in the love and knowledge of God, so that the children will:
- Love and appreciate God as creator from a young age
- Comprehend the verses more fully
- Learn some fascinating facts about God’s creation
- Learn as they enjoy coloring and other activities included in the book

Translations of existing foreign children's literature into Hebrew
In 2008 we were able to print and distribute "101 Favorite Stories." It was sent out to congregations all over Israel, and we received many heart warming thanks from families and congregations and Shabbat school teachers. This book is for children aged 7-14.
Will you help us repeat the success?
We need to have a variety of children's Bibles for all age groups, from toddlers to teenagers. It is important to utilize the amazing variety of children's Bibles available in English and other languages.
As a first step our wish is to translate and print children's Bibles from "Scandinavia publishing", including the Puzzle Bible Series and "My First Handy Bible" for toddlers.
